
On July, D’arriens, a leading tech company that focuses on audience acquisition and segmentation, distributed the results of a study on the use of smartphones in Argentina. The study confirms that 89% of users never leave their homes without their smartphones, while 80% of them access the Internet from mobile devices everyday.
The study also indicates that smartphones have transformed users´ behavior. It reveals that 86% of users search for information using their smartphones, and 56% then take an action like calling or sending an e-mail to the advertiser. Additionally, 33% of smartphone users performed at least one purchase from their mobile devices.
In October, PHONE USERS magazine Volume # 36 included D´arriens study as a cover story and also replicated it in its website.
